Sangria is delicious and very easy to make, perfect for parties. This version has a Rosé base. The wine does not have to be expensive, and we often get ours from the auctions on Grays Online or from Dan Murphy’s. The beauty of sangria is you can make it so many different ways or use up some wine you are not that fond of.
- 1 apple, diced
- 1 bottle Rosé
- 1/2 bottle red wine – your preference
- triple sec, about 1/2 cup
- 1 can ginger beer
- 1 can lemonade
Optional: Add a 1/4 cup orange juice or freshly squeezed lemon juice, swap apple for lemon or orange slices, strawberries or other desired fruit. If we are out of triple sec, we use brandy or vodka.
- Add fruit and all the rest of the ingredients – you can add the soft drink prior to serving if you want to retain some sparkle.
- Refrigerate until chilled and ready to serve – can be made hours in advance.
